pinterest is an amazing marketing tool to use to generate traffic to your blog or website. Pinterest is one of the quickest ways to get traffic to your brand with out spending any money because it’s FREE!
Once I got our blog Dollar Mommy Club up I started using Pinterest to start getting visitors to our blog. In the first week of adding my pins to my boards I started getting not just 1 or 2 people but 25 visitors in just one week and now that has grown to 129,915 visitors in the past three months!
As you can see Pinterest is a very powerful marketing tool. You need to making a successful Pinterest account that get a lot of views, followers and drives views to your blog or website and one way to do that is by creating eye capturing pins!
There are many pins on Pinterest that if your pins are not high quality or eye capturing they will get looked right over.
Here’s How To Create Eye Capturing Pins:
#1 – Use High Quality Images
Using high quality images makes your pins professional looking. When you are putting an image on your pin make sure they are high quality images. Try to stay away from using images from Google. You don’t need to spend money on high quality images. Pixabay and Unsplash are two great places to find free high quality images.
#2 – Use Big Text
This is a must! Having big text is a great way to capture someones attention. If your text is to small no one will take the time to read it and it will be skipped over easily. Look at the example below:

In this example the text is small and difficult to read. Reminder to use big text on your pins.
#3 – Intriguing Words
The text you place on your pins need to draw attention. This comes with the name of your post as well. Since you put text on your Pin that are the title of your post you need to make sure your post is attention grabbing.
Example:
If your post is about How to make a neckless don’t just name your post or the text on your pin.
“How to make a neckless” say…
“5 Creative Ways to Make Stuning Necklaces”
Doesn’t the second way sound much better. It is intriguing and you are giving steps! People love simple steps to follow.
A great place to create amazing Pinterest post is Canva.com. Canva has great templets and layouts for you to follow. When you create pins just follow these three steps and you will create amazing Pinterest pins that will drive traffic to your website or blog!
